SGMC Health has appointed Hilary Gibbs as its new senior vice president and chief administrative officer. This announcement, made in a press release earlier this week, marks a significant enhancement to her leadership responsibilities within the healthcare system. In her new role, Gibbs will oversee system-wide planning, clinical operational performance, and financial stewardship.
Gibbs, who joined SGMC Health in 2021, will continue to lead the SGMC Health Foundation and manage governmental affairs. Additionally, she will take on new responsibilities for clinical ancillary services, further solidifying her impact on the organization. Her extensive background includes over 20 years of experience in development and fundraising, highlighted by her previous role as associate vice president for development and alumni relations at Valdosta State University.
Educationally, Gibbs holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a Master of Education in Leadership, both obtained from Valdosta State University. Since her arrival at SGMC Health, she has been instrumental in advancing philanthropic initiatives and enhancing community and donor engagement. Her work has significantly contributed to the Foundation’s mission of supporting the growth and vision of SGMC Health.
In commenting on Gibbs’ promotion, Ronald E.
