The holiday season has begun as all Spirit Christmas stores across the United States have officially opened their doors. This year, the company expanded its seasonal offerings by launching 30 new Christmas-themed stores in the northeastern United States and the Great Lakes region, building on the success of its inaugural Christmas stores last year.
In 2022, Spirit Halloween introduced its first Christmas pop-up stores, opening approximately eight locations. The response was so positive that the company decided to significantly increase its footprint this year. According to a company spokesperson, the flagship Christmas store opened on October 17, 2023, featuring a festive atmosphere that included a visit from Santa Claus for the first 100 guests, who also received special discounts and treats.
All Spirit Christmas locations are now operational, with stores open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. local time. The majority of these locations launched in early November, following a few early openings in late October.
Santa Claus Photo Opportunities Available
As part of its holiday offerings, Spirit Christmas has also introduced photo opportunities with Santa Claus at select locations. This experience began on November 21, 2023, and will be available during specific hours: Fridays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. local time. Families can secure their slots for this festive experience as the holiday season gets underway.
