Four players from Central Lakes College (CLC) have achieved recognition for their exceptional performance in college football by earning spots on the All-Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) Football First Team. Sophomore Colin Schack and freshmen Maurice Kirksey, Keyuandre Watkins, and Marquavious Thornton were named to the prestigious first team, highlighting their contributions to the Raiders’ successful season.
In addition to the first team selections, several other CLC players received honors. Antonia Davis, Jabari Harris, Elijah Ward, Deyon Loveless, and Wayne Snowden were acknowledged on the second team. Furthermore, Samuel Brown, Chartreal Jenkins, and Anthony Mitcheli were recognized as honorable mentions, showcasing the depth of talent within the Raiders’ roster.
Outstanding Performances and Team Achievements
Among the honors, Marquavious Thornton distinguished himself by earning a spot on the MCAC Offensive Line Team of the Year, underscoring his pivotal role in the team’s performance. The Raiders concluded their season with a commendable fourth-place finish in the conference and advanced to the semifinal round of the MCAC State Tournament, reflecting their competitive spirit and determination throughout the season.
Recognition for outstanding coaching was awarded to Terrence Isaac Sr., who was named Coach of the Year for his leadership and the significant progress made by the team. His guidance has been instrumental in developing the team’s skills and fostering a winning culture at CLC.
