Donald B. Kreseski, a respected member of the Harding community, passed away unexpectedly on November 15, 2025. He was 42 years old and is remembered for his unwavering commitment to public service and his compassionate nature.

Born on April 25, 1983, Kreseski was the son of the late Donald Kreseski, Sr. and Patricia Kreseski. A graduate of Wyoming Area High School in 2001 and Luzerne County Community College, he dedicated his life to serving others. Kreseski held the position of Exeter Township Supervisor and was an active volunteer fireman with the Harding Fire Company, where his efforts positively impacted many lives.

Kreseski’s professional career included nearly 20 years as a Deputy Sheriff for the Luzerne County Sheriff’s Department. He also worked with Newell Fuel, contributing to his community in various capacities. Known for his kindness and empathy, his warmth extended beyond family and friends to his beloved dog, Zeus, and his horse, Pete.

Remembering a Loving Family Man

Donald Kreseski leaves behind his wife, Barbara Serino Kreseski, and his mother, Patricia Kreseski. He is also survived by his sister, Caroline Kuchinskas, and his cherished nephew, Carter, along with several aunts, uncles, and extended family members. His family describes him as someone who had a profound impact on their lives and the community at large.

The community is invited to pay their respects on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 16:00 to 19:00 at Adonizio Funeral Home, located at 251 William Street, Pittston. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Church of the Holy Redeemer, situated at 2435 Route 92, Falls. Friends and family may gather at the church starting at 09:30 until the service begins. Following the mass, interment will occur at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

The Kreseski family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Donald’s honor to the Harding Fire Company at 2307 Route 92, Harding, PA 18643. Those wishing to leave online condolences may do so at adoniziofuneralhome.com.
