A new Taco Bell is set to open in the Village of Coal Grove, Ohio, at the site of the former Jim Allen gas station located at 201 Marion Pike. The announcement was made by Mayor Andy Holmes, who confirmed that the land has been sold to a company based in Tennessee, which will oversee the construction. This location is strategically positioned near the U.S. 52 exit and directly across from the Speedway convenience store.

While the Village of Coal Grove does not have a role in determining what businesses occupy private properties, Mayor Holmes expressed enthusiasm about the addition of new establishments to the area. “Coal Grove is glad to get new businesses,” he stated, emphasizing the positive impact on local economic development.

Currently, a specific timeline for the construction of the Taco Bell has not been established, but the permit process is actively underway. Mayor Holmes indicated that further development efforts are ongoing in the vicinity, with additional solicitations for new businesses planned for the lot situated between the upcoming Taco Bell and a nearby car wash.

The arrival of Taco Bell marks a significant step in enhancing the commercial landscape of Coal Grove, bringing more options for residents and visitors alike. As the local economy continues to evolve, the community looks forward to the potential growth and opportunities that new businesses may bring.
