In Tuesday’s action, Western High School edged out Niles in a nail-biting match, winning 3-2 with scores of 25-20, 25-20, 14-25, 23-25, 15-12. Meanwhile, Tecumseh cruised past Harper Creek, securing a decisive victory with a score of 3-0, dominating the sets at 25-13, 25-18, 25-15.
Looking ahead, the championship showdown between Western and Tecumseh is set for Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 6:30 p.m.. The winner will advance to the quarterfinals at Gull Lake, facing the regional champion from Grand Rapids South Christian.
