NorthStar Anesthesia has officially launched a partnership with Bayhealth Medical Center in Dover, Delaware, aimed at improving anesthesia services for patients and surgical teams in the region. This collaboration, which commenced on November 10, 2025, seeks to enhance clinical quality, operational efficiency, and provider engagement.
The partnership comes as a strategic move to retain skilled professionals, including physicians and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs). Early indications show that the transition has been smooth, with a solid team already in place to deliver high-quality anesthesia care across Bayhealth’s surgical and procedural areas.
Josh Lumbley, Chief Quality Officer at NorthStar Anesthesia, emphasized the alignment between the two organizations. “Our mission has always been to partner with health systems that share our commitment to clinical quality, collaboration, and operational excellence,” he stated. Both organizations aim to strengthen access, continuity, and quality of anesthesia care in central Delaware, creating a beneficial environment for both patients and healthcare providers.
