Gloria Jean Walsh, aged 82, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025. Known for her warmth and kindness, Gloria was the cherished wife of the late Merrill Walsh. Her legacy continues through her family, including her sons Jeffrey Walsh and his wife Catherine of Wilmington, Sean Walsh and his wife Anne of Raymond, New Hampshire, Michael Walsh and his partner Lisa Tavares of Lunenburg, and Kenneth Walsh and his partner Susan Hamel of Lowell.
Gloria was a devoted grandmother, affectionately known as ‘Nanny’ to her grandchildren, Jared, Cole, Austin, and Jack Walsh. She also leaves behind a loving network of nieces and nephews, who will remember her fondly. Preceded in death by her siblings, Gloria’s impact on those around her was profound and lasting.
Funeral Arrangements and Memorial Contributions
Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at the Nichols Funeral Home, located at 187 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington. Visiting hours will take place on Monday, October 13th, from 17:00 to 19:00.
