Officers from the **Kauai Police Department** organized a unique fundraiser on **September 12, 2025**, by climbing to the roof of Walmart. The initiative not only raises funds but also raises awareness for the athletes and their remarkable achievements.

This year marks the **30th anniversary** of the Walmart branch in Kauai, adding significance to the event. Officers Jonathan Anderson, Anthony Gayagas, Kaulana Renaud, Gabby Himongala, and Sgt. Morris Unutoa participated enthusiastically, reinforcing the close ties between law enforcement and community efforts.

Juror **Sarah Darro** toured the Kauai submissions with artist **Kimberlin Blackburn** as preparations took place at the **Lihue Public Library**.

Among the notable pieces, artist **Caylin Spear** expressed pride in her sculpture being displayed in Lihue after its journey from **Kekaha**. Meanwhile, artist **Patrick Bremser** shared that he has three pieces accepted for the **Kauai Society of Artists** exhibit, which will open with a reception on **September 12, 2025**, from **5 to 8 PM** at the **KSA gallery**.
