Memorial services for John McConeghey will be held on September 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church in Monroe, Iowa. This gathering will honor McConeghey’s life and contributions to the community. Following the service, a private inurnment will take place at the Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.
Family and friends will have the opportunity to pay their respects during a visitation scheduled for September 12, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home in Pella, Iowa. The funeral home is managing the arrangements for these services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be directed to the Hospice of Pella Comfort House in Pella. This organization provides vital support and care for individuals facing terminal illness, reflecting McConeghey’s values of compassion and community service.
