Stateside Brands has secured naming rights for Xfinity Live!, a prominent entertainment venue in South Philadelphia, which will soon be rebranded as Stateside Live! The name change is anticipated to take effect in the fall of 2025 and marks a significant partnership negotiated through Goldwater Enterprises, further intertwining the venue with one of Pennsylvania’s rapidly growing spirits brands.

Strategic Location and Partnership

Situated strategically between Lincoln Financial Field, Citizens Bank Park, and the newly renamed Xfinity Mobile Arena, Stateside Live! is managed by The Cordish Companies’ Live! Hospitality & Entertainment division. This transition demonstrates Stateside’s commitment to Philadelphia’s vibrant entertainment scene, reinforcing its presence in a city known for its passionate sports fandom.

Founded in 2015 by brothers Matt and Bryan Quigley along with Clement and Zach Pappas, Stateside Vodka has evolved from a local craft distillery into a leading spirits brand in Pennsylvania. The company’s flagship vodka received a Double Gold Medal at the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and is now available in 32 states. In addition to vodka, Stateside Brands has expanded its product line to include Surfside Iced Teas and Lemonades, which were recently recognized by industry publication IMPACT Databank as the fastest-growing spirits brand globally.

“Our roots are in Philadelphia, and especially in Philly sports,” said Matt Quigley, president and co-founder of Stateside Brands. “This naming rights partnership is a full-circle moment for us after years of building our following one tailgate and one game at a time.”

Expanding the Entertainment Landscape

The rebranding coincides with a significant $20 million expansion planned for the venue. This investment aims to elevate the entertainment experience at Stateside Live! and includes several enhancements:

  • A two-story VIP building featuring an upscale rooftop oasis
  • A central stage designated for concerts and events
  • An upgraded turf area for various activities and community events
  • Public art installations throughout the plaza

According to Tony Monaco, vice president of operations for Live! Hospitality & Entertainment, the partnership is perfectly aligned with the venue’s aspirations. “Stateside is a quality brand with a deep connection to Philadelphia,” Monaco stated. “Together, we’ll continue delivering a world-class hospitality and entertainment experience for our millions of annual guests.”

During the construction period, which is set to conclude in 2026, the facility will remain fully operational. This timing is particularly significant, as it coincides with major upcoming events in Philadelphia, including America’s 250th birthday celebrations, the FIFA World Cup, and the Major League Baseball All-Star Game. The upgraded Stateside Live! is poised to become a central hub for these historic occasions.
